Nero Kwik Media Manager: ‘Free’ your media and your time
Gazing tenderly at an unusually photographic photo of myself, wishing I could move it from my mobile phone to my PC, has just become a craving of the past. Thanks to Nero Kwik Move It app, users can move media content, such as favourite photographs, songs and videos, from their mobile to computer or vice-versa, quickly and efficiently. This is just one of the many convenient, time-saving and powerful components of the Nero Kwik Media, although it has to be said, is the one that will spur me into downloading Kwik Media, and subsequently, literally ‘freeing my media’.
I am always slightly suspicious when software claims to be a ‘free and easy download’, firstly because hardly anything is ever ‘free’ in life and secondly ‘easy’ and ‘technology’ is not usually entwined. Despite my scepticism, true to its words, the software is free and remarkably quick to download, leaving you with one small and neat Nero icon on your desktop. Although don’t be fooled by size, as this innocent-looking icon has tremendous power and capabilities.
This complete all-in-one source enables you to organise your media library, search multi-media content, edit photos, create slideshows, burn discs to share, upload straight to web or watch videos right from your computer.
Having such a powerful, one-source platform to achieve such a multitude of previously time-consuming media exploits, means that your total media experience is made significantly easier. Photos can be improved and enhanced, without the need of any complex editing tools, before you share them with the world on Facebook. You never need be without your favourite tunes again, as the Nero Kwik enables you to sync your music to your MP3 player or mobile and put your playlist in one, easy to locate place. Half copied and appalling quality content is also a weakness of the past, as being powered by Nero’s award-winning burning software, impeccable copies of all your data are achieved every time and in record timing. With Dolby or DTS surround sound, Nero Kwik media unleashes the art of flexibility by allowing you to watch your favourite films on Blu-ray in tremendously high picture quality. Similar to the skills you will find you have immediately adopted in picture editing, you will now also be able to ‘wow’ your Facebook cronies by editing homemade videos with instant background and transition effects and themes before uploading them to a worldwide audience.
In a close-second from my personal favourite, the Nero Kwik Moveis the Nero Kwik Faces app, which, because of smart detection technology, automatically identifies the same people on a photograph, meaning you can tag people by name, or search for photographs by a person’s name.
It would have seemed almost unthinkable, a decade ago, that our media content and data would have become so multifarious, complex and great, that we would need a media manager tool to help us manage our content more efficiently and effectively. Today’s demands for multimedia data certainly warrants such a tool, and fortunately Nero has come up with the goods, what’s more free!
