Latest Gadgets round up: Toy Story 3 Leapster2, Cleebo baby snot remover, Joystick Junkies

To celebrate Toy Story becoming a trilogy Educational Toy Manufacturer LeapFrog have released a follow up to the hugely successful Leapster2, the limited edition Toy Story Leapster2. If you have children ages 4-8, or if you are a child aged 4-8 and like reading Gadget websites, then Leapfrog are looking at you with their handheld preschool games console. Specially designed to teach essential school skills in key fields including literacy, maths, vocabulary and creativity, the £39.99 console comes with a Toy Story 3 downloadable game where only word building and mathematical skills can save Woody, Buzz and the gang. You can plug the Leapster into a computer via USB, which automatically updates the Leapster website allowing interested parents to monitor progress.

Lovely as the little ones can be, they can sometimes have noses filled with snot, which parents have to dig out. According to a survey of 1000 parents, 27% of parents are faced with removing bogies from their child’s nose as often as three times a week and more than 80% admitted to using potentially dangerous instruments, such as cotton buds, tweezers and pencils, to do the job. 4% of parents have even resorted to sucking out stubborn pieces of snot. Yum. Bola and Chigusa Lafe decided enough was enough and created Cleebo – soft, plastic tweezers specially designed for digging around in tiny noses. For slightly older kids and youthful adults of all ages, Exspect, a technology accessories company, has released a Joystick Junkies range – which debuted at E3. Fusing digital pop culture and street fashion, Joystick Junkies do lots of 8 bit jewellery and space invaders T-shirts and their collaboration with Exspect is designed to bright up your consoles and MP3 players. They have an Xbox 360 Elite Players Kit, a DSi protection Shell Pack and a Handheld Console Flight bag. A full range of fashionable add ons should be available in the UK later this year.
