Gabrielle Pickard

Gabrielle Pickard is a 31-year-old freelance writer from Manchester. Since finishing a degree in media and culture in Manchester’s rival city, Liverpool, Gabrielle has been rallying between the UK and Spain travel writing, reporting on stories of local interest, and teaching Spanish to expatriates struggling with the language. Gabrielle is a regular contributor to RT, a Russian English language news channel, is a columnist for China.org.cn, a Chinese English language news site, and has had work published in the Daily Mail. Settling back in her home town with her husband and her 3-year-old son, Frankie and her 1-year-old, Charlie, Gabrielle is aiming to make a full-time living out of freelance writing.
