Gabrielle Pickard is a 31-year-old freelance writer from Manchester. Since finishing a degree in media and culture in Manchester’s rival city, Liverpool, Gabrielle has been rallying between the UK and Spain travel writing, reporting on stories of local interest, and teaching Spanish to expatriates struggling with the language. Gabrielle is a regular contributor to RT, a Russian English language news channel, is a columnist for China.org.cn, a Chinese English language news site, and has had work published in the Daily Mail.
