Emily Braham

Emily Braham was born in the UK but raised in the forested outer suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. She studied journalism in Melbourne, undertaking original research on citizen media, before taking an internship at a local newspaper in rural New South Wales. She is interested in everything to do with new media and technology, and the ways in which both impact on, and contribute to journalism. Emily is a keen traveller and spent a good part of last year backpacking and camping in Eastern, Central and Western Europe. She has since been living and working in the UK. She is also a keen wildlife and bird watcher, with a special interest in biodiversity and conservation.
