Dominic Smith

Dom Smith is a new-media journalist born in East Yorkshire who has a Masters in Magazine Journalism from the University of Central Lancashire. He provides contributions to Hull Daily Mail, NME.com, Manchester Rock Radio, ReGen and Rock Sound magazines alongside Latest Gadgets. During his three years at York St John's University for his BA degree in theatre, film and television production, Dom saw the potential in Yorkshire's vibrant alternative scene and dove in head first. He became heavily involved as a promoter and journalist concentrating on rock and electronic music. Dom currently runs his own online alternative culture magazine (spheremag.co.uk) and works as a consultant with KhaoZ Media and Explore Media in York alongside his various freelance duties.
