It’s not only George Michael who can enjoy ‘Freedom’, with Bluetooth headphones from Jaybird

Getting tangled up in your earphone cords, whether you’re trying to jog or exercise – or simply enjoying some tunes on the daily commute – is a real pain.

Jaybird has designed its headphones – which were launched at the Gadget Show Live at the NEC this week – to fit securely into the ears because it has ‘GeckoGrip’ active eartips – and there are a number of sizes in the box so you should find some to fit you!

They feature over-ear secure fit if you’re playing sports, a battery life of up to six hours, a full charging time of 1.5 hours. Oh, and here’s a nice touch – they have a lifetime warranty against sweat – nice!

As well as listening to tunes on your iTouch and iPad, the headphones will also work with an iPhone or other smartphone, and there’s an integrated microphone, so you can take calls wherever you are – in the gym, in the park – in the pub!

The Jaybird Freedom Bluetooth Headphones will be available from Amazon, Apple, Harrods and other stores at a rather pricey £99 – but maybe that’s the cost of freedom.
